My own home has little to do with the structure in which I live, though I am quite fond of the old thing that is gradually being restored, but, rather, where my significant other is to be found and the life that we build together.
Home is, for me, where I can be myself, warts and all, and feel safe and protected and sheltered from the rest of the world. And there is no other place that has all of those elements for me other than the space I share with my husband.
I cannot even tell you in words how much I love this <3
ReplyDeleteThis is, by far, my favorite. I love, love, love it!
ReplyDeleteYou blow me away!
(You DID show this to your husband, yes?)
love this!
ReplyDeleteThanks! And yes, my hub has seen it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the poor dear had to stand in the shower while I took the dozens of photos that I needed to finally come up with the ones for the house. What a good sport!
I feel odd commenting on this one, but can't stop thinking how this one looks kind of morbid. The filtered light, closed eyes and body parts invoke images of something from from six feet under or law and order. I think the backdrop of the fungus working on breaking down the pieces of that old oak tree add to the mystique of it.♥
ReplyDeleteI love this one.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Ang. And the guy in the photos, as well.
